After a successful Summer Campership program this past August, the Hunter Foundation, founded by Wendy Williams and her family, raised enough money to send 10 young girls from low income areas to summer camp at YMCA Camp Mason. Hunter Foundation gift bags with camp essentials and donated goods, as well as $50 towards their camp store accounts were given to the girls, along with an all expense paid two week stay at camp.
Soon to debut in the Spring of 2016, Girl Talk With Team Wendy is designed to bring together professional women who have excelled in their careers and pair them with girls who are a part of one or more of the Hunter Foundation community-based organization partnerships.
The program will assist the girls in building a relationship with each mentor that will allow for a free dialogue and inside look at each mentor’s profession, so that the mentee can receive guidance, direction, and personal and career development.
RayZo, Inc. founder Zoraya E. Lee-Hamlin acts as the Executive Director of the Summer Campership and Mentorship Program, and coordinated the entire program, as well as reached out to sponsors, potential mentors, accredited non-profits to recommend campers, and donors for money and in-kind donations. All collateral and website management was handled by RayZo, Inc.’s team of experts.
