North Jersey Federal Credit Union Hosts Small Business Summit

North Jersey Federal Credit Union recently hosted its 5th Annual Business Summit on September 3rd, 2015, which was a great success. This year’s turnout drew approximately 125 business people who spent the evening networking, listening to speakers discussing local business issues, all while enjoying some light refreshment. A free event, the summit is an opportunity for area business people to come together, connect, share ideas, and learn about resources to help them grow their business.

After some initial networking, several speakers, including Rick Martinez, Founder and CEO of Señor Sangria, Carlos Medina, the Chairman of the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, and Orville Morales, from the office of Representative Bill Pascrell (D-9th), discussed business successes along with resources available locally to help businesses grow. The speakers were introduced by Lourdes Cortez, President and CEO of North Jersey Federal Credit Union, and Richard Garcia, the Chief Business Development Officer.
