The Beauty And The Beach Run™ has a rich history as the only 5-mile race designed by women and for women. The RayZo team are the event managers working with Aslan Youth Ministries in Monmouth County, NJ to create an aspiring and wonderful experience for women running groups and individual runners.
The Beauty and the Beach Run for Womenis a 5-mile race uniquely designed for women to raise funds for at-risk disadvantaged children, served by Aslan Youth Ministries in Monmouth County, NJ. Coined as “Enjoy the Movement,” the steering committee plans involve raising awareness on health and wellness by creating opportunities for women to enjoy networking opportunities, prior to the big race day, and learn about travel, fitness, and nutrition. Women will also receive discounts from participating sponsors and vendors.
The race will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Ocean Place Resort & Spa, 1 Ocean Blvd. Long Branch, NJ. Race participants have the option to run 5-miles or walk 2.5-miles. Official timing will be offered to all registered runners who will also receive a long-sleeve running shirt, commemorative medal, a free beer courtesy of McLoone’s Pier House and a swag bag filled with coupons and promos from vendors and sponsors.
Joining us this year as our title Sponsor is Viacom and Angelina Pivarnick, who will serve as our celebrity emcee and race participant. Angelina is a cast member of MTV’s reality show “Jersey Shore” and “Jersey Shore Family Reunion” and will be on-site congratulating and handing out medals and trophies. DonnaLyn Giegerichempowerment speaker and leadership coach,will once again take the podium as our emcee.

FREEPre-Race Day Events! In addition to many amenities shared on race day, the Beauty and the Beach steering committee invites women, who follow the race on Facebook and Instagram, to attend pre-race-day events designed to celebrate women into fitness health and wellness. Free to attend, women enjoy workshops and networking opportunities and workshops on travel, health, nutrition, and wellness. All events will also have refreshments and wine (must be 21 and over).

This year we expect to host over 800 to 1,000 runners. Sponsors are coming on board and we will host a celebrity who will give out medals to top runners in each age category. All runners will receive a running shirt and charm.
