Bilingual by Design: Custom Digital Marketing Training, Brand Development, and Community Web Infrastructure for Elizabeth’s Colombian Business District
When the City of Elizabeth engaged RayZo to support small businesses in the Colombian Business District, the goal was straightforward: equip local entrepreneurs with the digital marketing skills, tools, and brand assets needed to grow their businesses and compete in today’s economy.
RayZo began with individual needs assessments for each participating business, taking the time to understand where each owner was starting from, what their goals were, and what barriers stood between them and a stronger digital presence. From there, RayZo developed a custom on-site training curriculum delivered entirely in both English and Spanish, ensuring that language was never a barrier to access or participation. The curriculum covered all aspects of digital marketing and social media management, from building a brand identity and managing social media platforms to running digital advertising campaigns and engaging customers online.
To complement the in-person training, RayZo built a dedicated online web portal housing all curriculum resources, lessons, and reference materials in one accessible, bilingual platform. Business owners could return to the portal at any time to revisit lessons, download resources, and continue building their skills independently long after the formal training concluded.
Every participating business received a custom style guide complete with branded templates for social media posts and flyers, giving each owner a professional, ready-to-use toolkit that reflected their individual brand identity. These style guides were produced bilingually, ensuring every business owner could use and share them with confidence in the language most natural to them.
As a capstone to the engagement, RayZo designed and launched a new website for the Colombian Business District, creating a centralized digital home for the district’s businesses, events, and community identity. The timing could not have been more meaningful: the site went live just in time for FIFA World Cup 2026, positioning the Colombian Business District to welcome visitors, generate visibility, and showcase the vibrancy of Elizabeth’s Latino business community to a global audience.
RayZo completed 100% of contract deliverables ahead of the project deadline, a reflection of the team’s commitment to execution and the trust the City of Elizabeth placed in us to deliver.
